About Us
The Western Metallic Silhouette Society (WMSS) of the Sunshine Coast is a club with a focus on family, competition oriented, and specialized shooting disciplines. We are located on the Sunshine Coast Community Shooting site on the Wilson Creek Forest Service Road.
Metallic silhouette shooting is a group of target shooting disciplines that involves shooting at metal cut outs at varying distances. The targets used are often rams, turkeys, pigs, and chickens, which are cut to different scales and set at certain distances from the shooter depending on the specific discipline.
Many members of the Western Metallic Silhouette Society (WMSS) of the Sunshine Coast also compete in Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) Cowboy Action Shooting.
